Everything you advise doing I would describe as being agile. Let’s not confuse Scrum (or the Kanban method, or SAFe) with agility.
Oh, and the manifesto for agile software development also has 12 principles, that do address the issues you mention.
What they don’t insist on is user stories or points.
You have found better ways of creating working software. You are literally being agile.
